3. Now it does have a couple of great tracks but A LOT of ho-hum filler. Think Zinc is the stand out track on Zip-Gun, followed closely by the single release Light of Love. 7. Released in early , BOLAN'S ZIP GUN appeared after T. Rex had been out of the limelight for a period of time. Rumors abounded about the supposed ill health of Marc Bolan, but beyond the rumors was the undeniable fact that T. Rex was no longer the sensation it had been in its early-'70s heyday.

8. Some even say this is Marc Bolans worst album. I will never again take a critics word for anything again. I have all the popular T. Rex albums and decided to branch out. Even with all the negativity thrown at this album, the samples I heard made me decide to purchase it and give it a try.
